When we think of a piece we'll keep for life, we often think of leather. Our good quality leather shoes, bags and jackets will be worn hundreds of times and passed from hand to hand for many years to come.
There are many questions surrounding the use of leather, its provenance, tanning and alternatives. At Rafale, we choose to offer you quality leathers from certified tanneries.

♻ Upcycling

The art of reclaiming existing fabrics or products to create new pieces. You've probably heard of dormant stocks, all those unused rolls lying around in warehouses. This brand revalorizes these fabrics to avoid waste, and we love it!

Products with a 100% fiber composition are preferred, as they are much easier to recycle. Indeed, it's still difficult today to separate the fibers of a single material, and products composed of a mixture of fibers present a real problem at the end of their life. For circular fashion, we're pushing single-fiber to the max!

Pourquoi on aime ISLI STUDIO ?

Karima a lancé Isli Studio en 2020, après une longue carrière en tant que designer et directrice artistique. Isli crée des bijoux et des sacs en cuir colorés à partir de matériaux recyclés.
La fabrication de tous ses produits et de leurs prototypes est réalisée en France, à l'exception de ses sacs qui sont assemblés au Maroc, dans un petit atelier artisanal fondé par Karim. Toutes les matières premières d'Isli sont achetées en France, le sourcing prenant une grande place dans leur processus de fabrication.
